Doug Davis Foundation

The Doug Davis Foundation has been established to help assist children with various medical, social and family needs. This year, as was the case last year, a portion of the proceeds from the 3rd Annual Celebrity/Charity Golf Invitational will go to the Miracle League of Arizona.  Monies will be targeted to help build a baseball stadium designed for use by children with special needs.  In our first year, some of the monies we raised went to assist children with Autism. Autism is a brain development disorder that impairs social interaction and communication, and causes restricted and repetitive behavior, all starting before a child is three years old.

 

The Doug Davis Foundation's 3rd Annual Celebrity / Charity Golf Invitational Will Be Held On December 6th, 2010 at the Westin Kierland Resort & Spa in Beautiful Scottsdale, Arizona.

Eat, Drink, Golf and Mingle

The Doug Davis Foundation's 1st and 2nd Annual Celebrity / Charity Golf Invitationals were a huge success. The events earned almost $100,000, which was used to help children suffering with autism, as well as given to the Miracle League of Arizona, with the monies targeted to build a specially designed baseball stadium for use by children with special needs.

This year's 3rd Annual Invitational will be an even bigger hit, considering the celebrity roster already set in place and listed at bottom.  We have turned the single day golf event into an all-inclusive weekend extravaganza, including a VIP Party, Poker Tournament and Golf Outing.  The Golf will be played at the beautiful Westin Kierland Resort & Spa in Scottsdale, Arizona.  The Celebrity and VIP Only Kickoff Party is set for Saturday, December 4, 2010, and will be held in a magnificent $7 million home in Paradise Valley, with the Poker Tournament held the following night.  The free giveaways, prizes and autograph opportunities alone are worth the donation.
